Android seems to be the future in the smartphone as news came according to the first quarter data for mobile phone market share released by Gartner, Android has emerged dominant and has taken over Windows Mobile and this was taken in the global market as Google seems to be certified as success in their another project and is a worthy achievement for Google.
While Android has beaten Microsoft’s mobile OS in the market share but is still far behind the iphone in terms of the smartphone where Symbian is in the first place and RIM in second and followed by iphone and Android and soon the Android might come over other OS too by the 1Q of 2011.
Android and iPhone are the only mobile platform who have built on their first quarter showing for the year 2009 and is increasing their respective market share at an impressive rate and seems to have a tough competition between these two and soon might be fighting for the first spot leaving all other behind as Android is coming in HTC,SAMSUNG,LG soon.
