There was again a rumor following in the web about the apple TV has Apple may have plans to kill the cable TV with the iPad by offering cheap rentals for TV shows that can be download from the cloud over-the-air. The rumors have surged again but this time the device in question is the new Apple TV, not the iPad which seems to be even stronger..and most effective.
This new Apple TV has been a hobby for Apple for long as some signs were seen previously as well but perhaps its the right time to hit the market with a new version of this device that actually behaves like a TV for the home and Many of the rumors also suggest that the new Apple TV will run under iOS 4 with multitask support and also that there is rumor of Google TV which runs on Android, and will have support for apps to use as well.
The new Apple TV which will also feature the ability to buy and stream TV shows for $.99 each. Episodes like in the music store which changed the music world and seems that it want to change in Tv as well and will be watchable for 30 days after purchased and for 24 hours after watched for the first time. so this will be much interesting to see how Apple brings the world’s most advance touchscreen OS to the masses for TV and try to compete with the Google TV meanwhile.
