Download links for iPhone OS 4.0 beta Firmware

Just some days back apple announced its latest firmware OS4.0 and was available to download only for developers which we have discussed previously also which will feature the latest features from apple like Multitasking,Background music,IAds etc. and now the download for non-developers like us is released and can be downloaded easily.. This is just the beta stage and is not the final approved version and even if you want to have a try into your iphone of Ipod touch we have managed download lnks for the iPhone 4.0 beta firmware.

I would also like to note you that please do not try to install these firmware to the jailbroken one becaue you might not be allowed to restore to the previews version of the Iphone and you might need to loose your iphone itself and if you want to try you will have to wait for it and it will be soon be available for jailbroken iphone also, i hope so. and following are the firmware versions released by apple

• iPhone1,2_4.0_8A230m_Restore.ipsw (iPhone 3G)
• iPhone2,1_4.0_8A230m_Restore.ipsw (iPhone 3GS)
• iPod2,1_4.0_8A230m_Restore.ipsw (iPod Touch 2G)
• iPod3,1_4.0_8A230m_Restore.ipsw (iPod Touch 3G)

You need to follow some instructions to download these Firmwares which is given  Here(link). this will be only compatible with  iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3G. other old versions don’t support this because of the incompatible hardware..and once you install to your iphone 3Gs you can enjoy the Multitasking with this firmware and have a try for it..

The firmware for each device has been divided into parts so for Windows  use HJSplit and for MAC use  Split&Concat and it will be joined for a single  .ipsw file.
