Follow simple step to turn off adobe flash plugin at Google Chrome on your Mac

How many of you have noticed that adobe flash plugin is default at Google Chrome? Do you get disturbed with this plugin over your Mac Os X? Sometimes it is needed as well. So, to turn it off, then you simply need to follow these steps here.

How to Turn Off the Flash Plugin in Google Chrome on Mac

  • Just open Chrome over your Mac OS X.
  • Then type ‘about:plugins’ in the URL bar and simply click return.
  • Now at the plug-ins list, search Flash, and click on “Disable”

PS That dont restart google chrome after completing this procedure.

    Flash is really annoying sometimes. It is making browsing a lot slower and it can also be a security hazard. But you need it for youtube. I use Adblock Plus for Chrome (http://chrome-plugins.org/extensions/chrome-adblock-plus/) to disable flash whenever it gets too obtrusive.

      You are right Flash does makes the browser a bit slow and some times hangs as well no the the thing jobs told long time ago was a truth ..

      i simply disable it at times when i need it..
