and do the following changes

1. Go to Start Menu, Settings
2. Go to Connections tab
3. Add new Modem Connection
1. Enter Name: Ntc
2. Select Modem: GPRS
3. Access point name: ntnet
4. Leave other fields as it is and finish.
4. Go to General Tab and give name as 'Ntc GPRS'
5. Return back to connections, Advanced Tab
6. Go to Select Networks and edit Network mgmt.
1. Programs that connect to the Internet should connect using: Ntc GPRS
2. Programs that connect to private network should connect using : Ntc GPRS
7. Restart your set and you are now ready to surf internet.

ya why not for sure it will support, 98 % mobile phone manufactured worldwide supports ,
since its a iphone it supports, but if you are in nepal and iphone then try Opera for iphone but you are in Nepal so u jailbreaked it so lets wait it to be added in Cydia and have a try in opera mini, because it allows to stop displaying images which will save money for you,

Here is the setting for iphone and its the easiest of all mobile models

1. Go to Menu
2. Go to Settings,
3. Go to General, Network
1. Go to Cellular Data Network
2. APN: ntnet
3. Leave username and password blank
4. Data Roaming: ON
4. Restart your set and you are now ready to surf internet.

Hi I am from Nepal.

I have Apple A1241, designed by Apple and assembled in China.

My Operator is Nepal Telecom (NTC).

I went through http://www.ntc.net.np/mobile/mob_gprsConfig.php#c… connfigue GPRS in my mobile but could not, cause they haven't mentioned DNS address in the site, they do have Proxy and Port only, which my mobile has no place to enter. It has only DNS (Prmiary) and DNS (secondary)

Plz help me to know the DNS of Nepal Telecom (NTC) to access net in my mobile. It's urgent.

Please some body reply me soon. Thanks!!

a. Account Name: Ntc
b. Enter APN: ntwap
c. Leave the username and Password field blank
d. Press Save. (New packet data account created)
4. Return back to Connectivity and select Internet settings
5. Go to Internet Profiles and add new profile
a. Enter Name: Ntc
b. Connect using: Ntc(select the account created)
c. Save the profile (New profile is created)
6. Select the profile just created and go to More, Settings
a. Change Use Proxy: Yes
b. Proxy Address: 192.80.7.133
c. Port number:8000
d. Leave Username and password field blank
e. Save the profile and finally activate it
7. Restart your set and you are now ready to surf internet

1. Enter the main Menu, Settings, Connectivity
2. Go to Internet settings
3. Select Connect using:
a. Add new Data Accounts, PS data
b. Give Name: Ntc
c. APN: ntwap
d. Press Save (New packete data account created)
4. Return back and edit the data account again
a. Leave other fields as it is.
b. Edit Proxy Settings
c. Set proxy on
d. Same for all servers: on
e. Go to HTTP
f. Leave username and password field blank
g. Proxy address: 192.80.7.133, Port: 8000
5. Save the settings
6. Restart your set and you are now ready to surf internet.

Setting III for Sony Ericsson P990i, P1i, W950

1. Go to Main Menu
2. Go to Tools, Control Panel, Connections
3. Select Internet Accounts and create new account
1. Account Name: Ntc

3. Press Done and add to group Account.

Connection type: normal AND USE PROXY AND
proxy address: 192.80.7.133
proxy port: 8000 (make sure its not 8080)

c. Proxy port no: 8000
4. Return back to Connection, Settings.
5. Go to Packet Data/GPRS:
a. Packet data conn: When available
b. Access point: ntwap
6. Restart your set and you are now ready to surf internet

Make following connection if third party application is not installing/running

Follow upto point 2
1.Connection name: Ntnet
2.Access point: ntnet
3.Authentication: Normal
4.Use this setting when the third party application request for connection.
