Its another good news for you that now you can unlock your iPhone 4 running iOS 5 beta 2 using even the Gevey sim. Yes, it was difficult before as Apple had created barrier in iOS 5 beta 2. Now you can simply follow these steps to unlock your iPhone 4.
Step 1: Make sure you have the following. These are required to unlock.
- An iPhone 4
- The iOS 5 Beta 2
- A Gevey SIM from ApplenBerry
- IPSW file which is available in the Apple Developer Portal
- The latest version of Sn0wbreeze
Step 2: First of all relegate your iPhone 4 to 4.3.3. Dont use tiny umbrella as apple is signing firmware. Now your baseband will be reduced to 04.10.01 with Gevey SIM working. Now click restore, by holding the SHIFT key and then select the 4.3.3 IPSW file.
Step 3: Now use Sn0wbeeze to draw a custom iOS 5 beta 2 restore file. Now restore it to custom restore file.
Step 4: Dont avoid turning your iPhone on with Apple servers.
Step 5: Now just switch off your iPhone and insert your Gevey SIM into the SIM card slot on your iPhone. Keep in mind that unless this step is complete, your Gevet sim wont be activated.
Step 6: Now switch on the iPhone and wait some seconds till the signal bar appear. Now you need to allow Gevey SIM screen to accept and open the application of phone. Now to check call 112 and wait for 2 seconds then hang up the call.
Step 7: Then finally switch the airplane mode on by clicking on to the settings app .here you need to wait 30 seconds till the indication of “No SIM card installed” appears.Select ok then switch airplane mode off.
