[How to ]Disable Auto Update for FireFox and its Plugins

Firefox is one of the best browser and most used browser and this works fine with regular updates and updates automatically but some times when you are browser and find some problem when the update options appears all the time because you might not need to update the Firefox You are using .so
you might want to disable Firefox Automatic update .

So here is a quick and easy step which will disable your Firefox Automatic Update.

Note:
This will just disable the Automatic but when a automatic update is available it will display about the update available..

Here how to Disable the Automatic Update for Firefox Browser…

  1. Go to “Tools” >> Click on “Options”
  2. Select “Advanced” tab >> click on “Update” tab
  3. Under “Automatically Check for Updates to” uncheck the box next to “Firefox”
  4. Click “OK” to save the changes

Now you are done and this setting change will disable all the automatic updates for Firfox Plugins,Sear engines and the Version of itself..
Also you can also change  the “Ask me what I want to do” button found under “When updates to Firefox are found” This is a option to get notified on each update,
