;Google’s latest phone Nexus which is having a good market share in smart phone where microsoft only used to be the majpr player in smartphone market and according to the stats the smartphone market Microsoft to lose market share in a recent three-month analysis which concluded in October. Windows 7 Mobile which will the the latest version for mobile from Microsoft is still delayed and as rumors it might be only released in 2011.
Due to the slumping in the smartphone business, Microsoft is reaching out to its own competitors to try to salvage the key assets of its mobile platform for mobile version mobile version with its search engine Bing. Microsoft is reportedly in advanced talks with iPhone maker and longtime rival Apple to make Microsoft’s Bing the default search engine for the iPhone.
These news are in the net since long time and as experts say its the only available Marketing Strategy from Microsoft to bring Down Google from the Android Market and apple hasn’t any search engine like both Microsoft and Google has this move from Microsoft can be a huge bonus for both Apple and Microsoft as compared to Google
One of the sources who leaked the news comments, “Apple and Google know the other is their primary enemy. Microsoft is now a pawn in that battle.” The deal will make Bing as Iphones default search engine which previously used to be the Google and would involve a partnerships to serve ads to iPhone users. Currently, only Yahoo and Google are offered as choices for the default search.
Google reportedly pays Apple a flat annual fee to make its search engine the default. for all the Iphone and ipod touch and since its a contract so the Microsoft might be offering a larger bid, or perhaps a cut of advertising revenue to sweeten the deal. Microsoft needs the business — currently Bing sits at a mere 11 percent of November’s smart phone search traffic, with Google controlling 86 percent. As Forrester Research analyst James McQuivey states,
If you have to do a deal with the devil, you might as well deal with the devil that needs you most.
This is only the news that has been flashed for smart phone but reports say that This might be strategy to take most of the Search engine share liek google is doing so we might soon see Bing as the Deafult Search ngine for both Windows and MAc too…and we can only watch which wil ome first.. and as predected Apple might be the most profitable party in these three ..but who knows Apple might soon launch its own search engine which will make it more intresting….
