It was just some time back Sony released their firmware update 3.2.1 which disabled the support of the Third party OS and also which had other features like support for 3D gaming along with many other enhanced trophy features.
Now they have released a new update from PlayStation v3.3.0 which added a new feature of Bitstream (Direct) and Bitstream (Mix) under Video Settings > BD Audio Output Format (Optical Digital) options.
And also Remote Play features is enabled in this update which is some other exciting feature in this update. and also Sony is planning to allow new Sony VAIO PC owners to take advantage of remote play features without the use of a PSP or alternative intermediary device. and there are rumors that “enhanced region free Blu-ray movie playback” and “updated Flash compatibility” is coming soon. which is a good news to hear
