Blast Premier : Presentation

Blast Premier is the biggest Counter Strike competition in the world. Spread over a season, it includes 3 major events: the Spring Season Final, the Fall Season Final and the World Final which is the grand finale. The latter is the goal of all CS:Go pro players.

The Spring Season Final and the Fall Season Final take place in the same way. 12 teams divided into 3 groups of 4 compete for a place in the World Final. 6 of them will qualify directly, while the remaining 6 will have to participate in the Showdown to hope to win their place.

The Showdown features knockout matches.

In addition to the 6 non-qualified teams, other teams participate in the event, including a team invited for the occasion and the 9 teams of the regional qualifier. The amateur teams therefore have a chance to unseat the pros.

For the 2022 edition, the Showdown will be divided into 2 groups: the European & CIS bracket which includes 8 teams and the NA & Rest of the World bracket which includes 8 teams. One team from each bracket will continue the competition.

The Spring Season and Fall Season champions will be joined by the top teams from the CS:GO Major, the top teams from the ESL Pro League and the top 2 teams from the Global Leaderboard. Each tournament will feature cash prizes ranging from $135,000 for the Showdown winner to $1,000,000 for the team that wins the Blast Premier World Final.

The competing teams

The Spring Season Final took place in mid-June and the Fall Season will start in mid-August. 12 great teams are currently participating in the 2022 edition of Blast Premier. They come from all over the world, including the Canadian team Evil Geniuses. They will be in Group C with Faze, Heroic and BIG.

Group A will feature Team Vitality from France, Redbull OG Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas from Sweden and Astralis. Finally, Group B includes Navi, Complexity, G2 Esports and Team Liquid.

If we had to pick a favourite, it would be Team Faze who are currently having a remarkable 2022 season.

Betting on esports matches

Did you know that you can bet on esports matches?

It's just like football, but you bet on your favourite esport team. Sites like gg.bet make it easy to do this. They offer a fairly extensive list of games to bet on. You can also bet on a more traditional sport.

For a gamer, it is easier to bet on an esport team. This is because you are always aware of your favourite team's performance. This increases the chances of winning, and allows you to make some money while supporting your CS:Go team.

Conclusions

Esport is becoming more and more professional, and major competitions such as Blast Premier will gain in size with time. The Counter Strike FaZe team has a great chance to win the $1,000,000 cash prize of the tournament given their performance. However, there are still some surprises in store.
