Introducing the Oppo Enco Air2

These days, it's quite common to see new versions of high-tech products. It's an understandable bias, as it's better to release an improved version of your devices than to reinvent the wheel. The Oppo Enco Air2 is the new version of the wireless headphones I introduced to you last summer. With their price now around 70 euros, these are still the cheapest earphones in the Oppo range.

However, they have the merit of being equipped with ANC and having a 24-hour battery life. This makes them a pretty good value for money headset. Another important detail: they do not have rubber plugs that fit the ear canal. Some people don't like this, so I thought it was important to point this out.

Great sound at an unbeatable price

With their 13.4mm titanium diaphragms, the Oppo Enco Air2 are easily the best entry-level wireless headphones of any brand. With deep bass, crisp mids and clear highs, the experience is totally immersive and frankly, you'll want more.

And thanks to Enco Live technology, we now benefit from two new and very convincing sound effects: Clear Vocal, which makes voices more detailed, and Bass Boost, which, as the name suggests, makes the bass more powerful. As far as battery life is concerned, we're talking about 4 hours without a case, and up to 24 hours with the charging case, which is not bad at all. Add to this a Bluetooth 5.2 transmission and TÜV Rheinland certification that guarantee very low latency and you're looking at earphones that are made for playing on a smartphone, but not only.

Opinions on the Oppo Enco Air2

Like last year, I was really won over by the Oppo Enco Air2 which offer much better performance at a lower price. I particularly like their intelligent ANC which simulates the human binaural hearing system to filter out ambient noise perfectly. Moreover, the whole thing is equipped with touch-sensitive controls that make it very easy to deactivate the noise reduction if needed.

A funny detail is that these controls can even trigger the camera if you want to take a selfie from a distance. I also like the fact that the Oppo Enco Air2 is splash resistant, so you can use it in the rain or while playing sports.

The fact that you only have to open the case to connect them to your phone makes the user experience very pleasant. In short, if you're looking for cheap and stylish wireless headphones, I highly recommend these new Oppo earbuds.
